Dr. Awawu Ojikutu is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who specializes in co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the illustrious Howard University and a Master of Science in Nursing from George Washington University. Dr. Ojikutu finished her Doctorate in Nursing Practice with a focus on Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at the University of Maryland School of Nursing. She is a proud member of Chi Eta Phi Sorority Inc., a member of the Maryland Healthcare Commission, and a member of the Board of Directors for Lynn’s Gift Inc., a nonprofit that supports families from low-income backgrounds. In her free time, Dr. Ojikutu enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, family, friends, and her dog Willow.
